Came from the old Gails. Wow, what a difference a day makes! Saw this site posted and thought I'd try it. Love the format. Good job to the webmaster! Will soon post my favorite recipes with hopes to learn a lot from others here.

Welcome Clofthwld. Glad you are joining us. I think you will find this site friendly, (m)

helpful, and fun. We love this place and thank Mimi for providing us with a place to meet.

Welcome clofthwld. Mimi monitors this board diligently, and that is a huge plus.

So far, with registration and a good user agreement, we've escaped 99% of the foolishness from 'over there'. I expect that to continue, and I'm thrilled!

How long have you been a poster at epi? Do we know you from another name from 'way back when'?

Michael

Saw the Post re Who's Who

I'm 52 years old. My entire family has been in the restaurant business since we were born (just about). I've managed country clubs, chains, my brother's restaurant in Providence RI. I'm no longer working, but despite the 30 plus years and a bachelor's in Food Service Management, I'm just now learning how to really cook. Someone else always did it for me! It soothes me to cook.

Oh, and I have a wonderful husband, too.

Be sure to check out the T&T section up above. Lot's of the "old" favorite recipes are found there.

Michael - I never posted and more...

I usually got home at 2am and just went to EPI for recipes. I've probably been looking around there for about 10 years. Yikes! Now I'm done. No more work. Just relax and cook and read and whatever else I feel like doing. I'm starting a non-credit course this September in Irish Language. Taw may sean (I am old) and can afford it now!

Just one note on EPI: What a mess.
