Fabulous oysters - Felix's

Wonderful dinner - Emirle - especially crab appetizer and duck main course

Gumbo at the Gumbo shop was a bit disappointing

Breakfast brunch at 3 sisters - too commercial and not really great

Muffuletta at Central Grocery - still great but I thought I remembered specifically ordering what one wanted and they made it on the spot but now it is ready made for you. and you do not have a choice. Still it is great to take on a

trip of any sort...

More to come - still have a day and a half.

I think you're right about Central Grocery, Elaine--in 2001 or 2002, it was still made-to-order...
