NFR Are any of the rest of you having problems getting gasoline?

We're finding ourselves stayin home tonight trying to conserve what we have. DH didn't listen to me and fill up his car this week after the scare last weekend so now he's down to 1/4 tank in his truck and about 2-3 gallons in his car. I'm on 1/2 tank and I think DD topped hers off yesterday thank goodness.

This is out of hand!

Hwo do you mean problems getting gas? Here in No. CA there are no problems going to the gas station

and filling up.

I just figured out how to feel better - eat Marilyn's chocolate sauce

don't have any ice cream and can't risk using what gas we have just to run and get some. Just saw a chocolate commercial and while I'm not normally a chocoholic, think it's a good thing for tonight and my mood. Belgium raspberry beer and Marilyn's chocolate sauce. Wish me well - I walk in the JDRF Walk tomorrow!

My husband spends his days wired into the news on radio so I asked him if he'd heard anything (m)

regarding a gasoline shortage in your area, Music City Missy. He said is was the rumor mill which perpetuated your shortage, as in people began hearing that there was going to be a shortage so they hustled out to buy gas, thereby creating a shortage when none existed! So we're doing it to ourselves. I know that doesn't help you drive to work or to the grocery any easier, but it's comforting to know it probably shouldn't last too long.

Here's a newspaper article Paul referred me to:

No Problem here

I sit on I-24 between Chattanooga and Nashville (on Monteagle Mountain) and we still have gas here.
