Not oral; but love our braun thermometer. link is to a newer model than mine. I have compared

readings with the drs office and hospital and it is always spot on.

Hope all is well in your family and just getting a replacement as opposed to someone feeling under the weather.

Thanks, barb. My husband's been running a fever, and the oral thermometer we have sucks! It showed a

temperature of 95.5! Totally weird. Right after that, he used a rectal thermometer, and it showed almost 101.

Confession, I broke my oral thermometer so I was using my digital kitchen thermometer

while looking in the mirror. The dang thing is sharp! But I dropped it recently so now I'm out of options for both, so I must go shopping.
