Saturday I bought a pair of bright pink w/white stripe Adidas shorts and the sales lady forgot to remove the security tag (it will cause ink to go all over the shorts if not removed by the store) and this morning I wanted to wear them so I tried to remove it and you guessed it ink all over the shorts, looked horrible and ruined in the area of the tag ~ so I brought them back and they didn't have my size ~ the new sales lady gave me a solution of ammonia and water didn't work ~ I decided to keep them ~ really liked the shorts ~ so I came home and placed the inked part on a plastic bag, got an old tooth brush and bar keeper's friend and with a slight bit of elbow greese removed all ALL the ink and I just removed the shorts form the washing machine and I couldn't tell which leg had the ink.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???? I am so so so impressed hmmmmmmmmm I wonder what else my bar keeper's friend can do?

On Monday I made Olga's Creamy Beefaroni again and I was quite distracted while making the cheese sauce and it burned hard on the bottom of my new pot and I use bar keeper's friend and it removed all the burnt stuck on cheese sauce.

I should become the pitchwoman for Bar Keeper's Friend.

Thought I'd share

Magic erasers by Mr. Clean are wonderful too on shoes.

Grass stains on sneakers can be totally erased with these little wonders. I bought them to take the stains off of my walls caused by the dogs and balls, but they work great on any grass stains. I work in the yard alot. Sometimes I don't think and work in nicer shoes. They take off those black streaks on regular leather shoes as well. Just a little water and as new.
