I wasn't going to say anything but this is just too good.

Some of you know that my little brother died two weeks ago after a long fight with brain cancer. Well this morning at 10:02 am my great-nephew was born. The whopping 10 pound 11 ounce 22 inch bundle of joy just slipped right out. Her first baby was not an easy birth. My sister said it was easier than her three.

This was the first baby born on the first day of the newly named St. Mary's Innovis Health in Detroit Lakes, MN. Pictures to be in the Fargo Forum and on the local news.

I said NFR but at that size he will be looking for Joe's Cassoulet in about a week.

Do I sound like a proud great-uncle? You betcha!

That is superb, Michael. So glad mother and son are doing fine.

My condolences to you for the loss of your brother. I've been there, and it is so hard. Please know I feel for you, and I hope your little nephew brings great joy to you and your family.

Michael

Michael, so sorry about your brother. How happy you must all be with the new baby. Such is life and

I wish you only happiness now. Your brother

with the baby.

Michael, I am so sorry for your loss, so happy for the new arrival, and so honored

to have cassoulet mentioned for Baby Huey's eventual appeasement. I don't think the cassoulet itself weighs as much as the baby.

Michael - so happy and so sad all at once.

I didn't know about your brother. I am so sorry for your loss. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayrs.

Michael, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure the last year must have been very difficult. I am

thrilled about your new lil guy! It sounds like he skipped infant sized clothes and moved right to toddler size! Congrats!

Michael, my sincerest condolences

on the loss of your brother.

It is wonderful that there is a new life in the family. I'm certain that he will be a joy!

Michael, Heartfelt condolences on the loss of your brother....my

best friend is dealing with a Brain tumor with her 17 year old son and I know that you have been through a horrific time.

Sorrow and Joy .... I hope you get to enjoy that bundle of Joy.

Such a mixed bag of news. So sorry to hear about your brother and excited

to hear of the new baby! I wish you both condolences and congratulations! Life is always so unexpected smileys/smile.gif

what a little chunk of cute baby he must be!

our baby boy Beck was born at 3lbs 9oz. now at 14 months he is closing in at 17. cassoulet, might be a good answer, he eats like a horse, whatever that means, but never stays still. take care and hope that joy overcomes all. lisa

Congratulations and sympathy...

How often it seems to work this way, the circle of life. Enjoy that little boy.
