I chked our Dec '18 mag. back thru issues to June 2018 & nada on GPS. Neither was there any review
of GPS in the 2019 or the 2018 Annual Consumer Reports Guides. Online there is info at the Consumer Report web site for GPS, but the heading says it was last updated in August of 2016. And I cannot access the actual Aug. 2016 review information there because we do not subscribe to the on-line version. Sorry!

(viewable online magazines).
With your month/page information, CR is discussing GPS loaded into various cars. It is rating the car's GPS, not an independent GPS you buy and plug into the car.
Is this what you're looking for, because it specifically evaluates cars.
Best GPS in cars are Tesla (well, for that price, the car should come with its own sherpa), Audi, Ford, Chrysler, Kia.
