NFR - Does anyone here have gmail? Can't figure out how to create folders - don't see any set up. Am

I think you go to More Actions on the top and click on apply labels.

I think Labels is gmail's version of folders. Good luck.

 
Hey Kathleen and Dianne - I did create a test label, but I couldn't figure out how to move certain

messages out of the Inbox and into the particular label/folder. When I did move one message to the folder/label, and then tried to delete it from the Inbox, it got deleted from the "label" also. I've done this hundreds of times with my other email accounts, but this one eludes me -it's a totally different set-up, and a real PITA. How do I move inbox messages to the new folder, plus delete them from the inbox? Thanks.

 
Just tried it again - it simply applies the name of the label to the message in the Inbox. Can't

move any message to the folder/label, since it's not set up to be a folder! There's nothing that says "Move to." This is weird and annoying. All other email accounts allow one to set up unlimited folders, and any message can be moved to them.

 
Meryl ~ check the message you want to move to your file/label then go to top and click on

MORE ACTIONS~then~click on the arrow facing down~THEN click on the label YOU WANT TO MOVE IT TO: THEN ~ CLICK ARCHIVE IT WILL MOVE IT TO YOUR LABLE (file)

Confusing at first then you'll get use to it
