NFR - Finally started a new full time job today!

My hours had been cut at my old job several years ago shortly before I was so ill for quite some time. Finally have had fewer onc followups for a while now. Old employer's office is moving end of next month to a location that would have been a helluva awful drive from my house so I finally started looking.

Everyone was really nice today and I have my fingers crossed I will be happy there.

I'll sure miss my old friends of ten years, plus my cousin shared office space with us, so I'll miss her even more.

New office is in the heart of Chinese & Middle Eastern market & restaurant area. Woo Hoo!

 
Congratulations and be sure to report on good markets and restaurants.

My next trip to Dallas will probably be in early May. Maybe we can meet for lunch.

 
The two right by my office that get terrific reviews:

Afrah, which is Lebanese and also has a great weekday lunch buffet (but will be hard to top Ali Baba in Lakewood in my book) and First Chinese Barbecue, which is NOT Americanized and famous for roast pork & duck.

Can hardly wait!
