NFR Has anyone else noticed almost no hummingbirds? Here, after April 1 we usually have lots??

My neighbor were noticing that our feeders have no customers? There was one flyby while we were talking?

We have hummers here all year long. The blue jays and american yellow finch are very thick right

now. I'm seeing a few red house finches coming in too.

I have noticed that the hibiscut tree that I overwintered in my house

is drawing the hummingbirds this year, more than my feeder is. I am not getting nearly as many as I did in San Diego, but I don't expect to.
Come to think of it, maybe it is the same hummingbird not several.

We have lots of them down here in SoCal.

Alot here too, especially after putting in a new yard...became a Certified Wildlife Habitat...lots

of bees, birds, hummingbirds, butterflies...80% native plants. The yard went in 6 weeks ago and was designed to draw lots of pollinators.

Sounds wonderful. We had a cooler than usual March and April. Maybe they went back south?
