You know, we couldn't find them either last week at the grocery.
I assumed it was because we've moved and this particular grocery store (Giant) didn't carry them. I hope they haven't stopped making them.

Pehaps because of the rising price of copper?
I don't know much about this issue but I know copper prices have gone through the roof over the last couple of years due to rising demand for the metal for electronics. It's in the news here because we're located near a major copper mine.

Good point. My contractor husband has mentioned the high price of copper.
He does a lot of bath and kitchen remodelling and says the price has just gone through the roof for copper wire and piping.

Haha - you're a trip, M! You know, I called my local Walgreen's a few weeks ago, and
one of the clerks said they had one package left, and he would hold it for me behind the counter. I went to pick it up the next day, and no one knew anything about it - they looked and looked and couldn't find it behind the counter. The guy was obviously a moron.

I check on eBay for a lot of things - you can find ANYTHING on there....
and if it's not listed at the moment, do a search to save because it'll be listed soon!

I found a 1960's ashtray from Milwaukee for a woman who was looking for it. Right now I'm watching for a high school yearbook for my friend whose yearbooks got ruined.

But when I can buy my good perfumes and shoes at a fraction of dept store sale prices I don't think I'll ever stop shopping there. I wear DKNY Cashmere Mist and I can get the $80 bottle on eBay for about $30. LOVE, love, love it! smileys/smile.gif

Funny, I don't use it often enough. I found my Lands End coat for 1/2 the price. I have a colleague
that purchases most/everything from ebay. He swears by it.
Unfortunately, I had already purchased my coat from Landsend.com. It did not occur to me to look on ebay.
On a funny note, last time I purchased something on ebay, the postal carrier came up to deliver it to the house. She said, "not you too!"....Apparently, the label was printed off with an ebay logo. She mentioned that many people on her route are receiving packages...I never thought of the impact on the postal service as a result of ebay!
You should try it!! (I may need to head there now!!)
