NFR How do I show a picture in image url have seen a few do this

First you need to upload the photo to the net....

... using any of the photo share sites, like Picasa Web Album (the one I use and like the most)

once you have your photo uploaded, just copy the URL associated with it and post here

Oh no, Sally. Not at all. What I was wondering was if the group was

still using it most often or was I lagging behind as usual.

Or you can write a one-line HTML code and include it right here in a post like Michael did, above. I

think there is a hint for that in the Tips section here, too. You still have to post it to an image-hosting site first though (like Photobucket.com), I'm pretty sure, to get that "_" part of the code.

Then there is nothing typed into the "image URL" box here, just the picture in the message. Especially useful if you have a lot of pictures you want to include in your post, like Cheezz did with the cookies she made (yum!).

Yeah, this is a sampling of last year's GB. I always make a bunch of these, and...

...Merry Christmas Cookies for decorating.

I put 6 or 8 squirt bottles full of colored icing, each upside down in its own coffee mug, in the middle of the table and let the kids (and over-grown kids) have some fun decorating them.

We have a blast...

Michael

Thanks Cyn, you beat me to it... if you want to cut-and-paste, this might save you a

little typing:

Oh! I see you can't do it this way, that's why Lana put the code in as a picture...
"

(put%20the%20url%20for%20your%20image%20here)

"

Thanks for the tip, Lana

Photobucket allows you to copy-and-paste the html code directly from the picture...

...once you upload it to their site.

That's what I did above.

Michael

What a fun tradition, Michael. We make the star shaped christmas tree that you suggested yrs ago
