I'm looking for one that is easy to use as I really am a techno idot.

any suggestions?

thanks smileys/smile.gif

I like Google Docs - it's online program - not a download

You need a Google account which is free - and gets you a gmail account.

Go to Google.com
Click on "more" on the top of the page
Click on "even more"
And the on the right hand side you'll see "Docs"

I like Google and Open Office both. I like Google a little better

because you can share your documents with other people. I do my produce ordering with Google. I fill out the spreadsheet with the produce and prices, then share it with the other members. They can add what they want to order into their column without having to email back and forth.
It really depends on what you want to use it for Randi.

thank you smileys/smile.gif I have a gmail account and never explored the other options available. It's just

for some letters I need to deal with and, since I have to go elsewhere to print, this is perfect for my needs.

thanks Michael. downloading anything makes me nervous as computers seem to

have it out for me "-)))

I have great virus protection, not sure what, but Don was a programer so I know it's all good.

One of the pluses for Open Office. If you need to create a PDF from other programs>>

a Freeware program is CutePDF. It's set up as a printer. When you are on a page you want to print go to file/print and choose CutePDF. Click OK and it'll open a window asking you to name the file.
