NFR: I made a big mistake today

and washed a load of laundry with a tube of lipstick. It got on almost everything which consisted of dh's favorite work clothes! Oh help if you can, please, please, please. I feel terrible and while it's not the end of the world, my dh needs work clothes...

Denice, If the tip does not work, get some Oxyclean and try that. (m)

I ususally have very good luck with this product for getting out stains.

Go get several cans of Spot Shot! Promise it works....

When Kristen was younger she got lipstick on quite a few things and it got it out of fabrics and even off the wall withouth any problem. It's a silver, orange and blue can. I know they have it at Costco most of the time and Sam's but I have gotten it at Target too I think.

Goo Gone isn't bad and the OxiClean cleaners work pretty good too.

 
I use Spot Shot ALL the time on my carpet and it is a miracle...

never thought to use it on clothes. Thanks for the tip, Missy.

 
I don't use it as an everyday clothing spot remover.....

just for the tough stuff when all else fails and you need to test it on the fabric but it has worked well on some oxford cloth shirts - just be sure to throw in the washer as soon as you treat them and wash them.

 
OK, Heavy sigh. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

First day of school for my 2nd grader tomorrow, but I have to work, so I'm not sure when I can get this done.
