result of cataract surgery complications, and I'm very concerned about the recovery period. He cannot lower his head for a week after the surgery, to make sure the transplant stays in place. This is going to be a major challenge for him, and I wondered if any of you good friends have had any experience with this procedure? Many thanks for any advice.

No experience with this particular surgery, M. Larry has had six or seven eye surgeries and we

worry about every one of them. Sending best wishes to you and hubby for healing graces.

By the way, after years of eye irritation problems, I figured out that Larry was allergic to the preservatives in his 3 "twice daily" eye drops. He was fine for years with two drops, but once they added the third drop, the sum total of all the preservative was just too much. Please, please, pay attention to that. It will turn into blepharitis (which will then require MORE antibiotics and MORE drops) and can be avoided if they'd only prescribe "preservative-free" eye drops (individual usage). Of course, these are more expensive and not all drops are available this way. But keep watch. You are your own best advocate.

My uncle did, glad my aunt is home.

he had one of those grabber things in case he dropped something and a big foam wedge to sleep with - same one I bought for my whooping cough.

Everything went just fine and he had no problems. His neck surgery was much harder on him.
