NFR: Our security team at work sent out a warning about a Facebook "trojan" virus

FYI:

We're not able to access these sorts of social-networking sites within our firewall here at work, but we can take our laptops home and so our IT security team always send out warnings that could impact the integrity of our computers.

I checked at snopes.com regarding this topic, but there weren't any references.

Thanks, Marilyn, but you are 19 hours too late. Our marketing director got it yesterday.

We didn't set our firewall because the Orchestra has it's own FB page. I've since plugged that hole. Sorta like closing the barn door after the horse ran away.

Our spam folder at work caught it and I just dumped it... no harm done - WHEW!
