A Great Idea!!!

TO REMEMBER THE RIGHT PEOPLE this year, please include a card to the following:

A Recovering American Soldier

c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center

6900 Georgia Avenue, NW

Washington , D.C. 20307-5001

If you approve of the idea, please pass it on to your e-mail list.

I might have misread the website, but the above address may be incomplete.

I think cards must be addressed to the American Red Cross instead of to A Recovering American Soldier. Otherwise, it will be returned or thrown out. Please double check because I am sending some cards and want to be sure they get to the soldiers too. Thanks.

Angie, The Walter Reed Hospital is the only address I recieved, but I like your link better and I

will mail Christmas Cards to every address you provided, in addition, on your link, it also has the Walter Reed Hospital.

I really appreciate all the addresses, in my personal opinion, what would it hurt to send Christmas cards to every address you provided.

Thank you for the link, you R O C K Angie smileys/smile.gif

Great site for care packages!!!

Hi Dianncy64, I know many of the posters here have committed to a holiday cookie project for one of your friends (lucky soldier!), but I have found the BEST site thus far for sending care packages to our troops if you don't personally know of anyone deployed. This site has personal notes with requests from soldiers and the website will provide you with their specific address.
