NFR Thanks: They walked 49 people out of work today and I wasn't one of them. [exhaling]

Oh my goodness. What a relief.

They are 'reorganizing' at my husband's workplace. The word going around is that reorganizing is a euphemism for outsourcing. He's looked, and the only jobs he sees are in NJ or Colorado. We're also holding our breath (breaths?).

Congratulations, Marilyn!

Marilyn, I am very happy for you! But, it is so hard to hear about more people

losing their jobs. I am very sorry for them and their families.

Oh my, so much sadness in this post. I'm so happy for you Marilyn

and so saddened about the big picture. Good luck to all.

Marilyn,FL, So sad for your fellow co-workers. Your company has kept a gem and thats wonderful for

you.

Things are so bad out there and every time I hear how great things are getting I see red!

Mar, these are such sad/strange times. I am glad you are OK, but know that it must be difficult

for morale and productivity when good people are let go....So disturbing that we are going through this.....

Whew! That's tough to watch though, I feel for you. It's rampant, with no end in sight. smileys/frown.gif

I'm glad you made it through another wave, ((( Mar )))

Though I hate reading about more layoffs, as I think you work in the same industry as my DH. He's been unemployed since 4/08, with nothing on the horizon.
