According to my husband the Kindle Fire is not as smooth as the IPad but is larger than the

ITouch so content can be read better. It's also an ereader but it has no camera or microphone. Hubby loves his IPad.

My tech-y friends say to wait for the second generation of the Kindle Fire.

If he has a Kindle now get him a tablet that can use the Kindle app...

one with an Android operating system has the app. I don't know about Apples. A friend got a Fire and sent it back because it didn't live up to the hype.

I was going to ask Santa for a Fire but decided to wait.

In the next couple of weeks the prices should drop on electronics.

I love my fire, for what its worth....fast enough for me but I am not wanting or...

expecting much more than what it is giving me...now if I could get a new, faster and better set up as a computer from good old father Christmas.....
