We had so much fun. We had two teams of 6 and my sister-in-law had prizes for the winning team. I was not on the winning team and I am going to buy her a digital timer, since I don't know how she was able to figure out seconds on her analog/egg timer type timer. After the last couple of days, it felt so good to laugh and be goofy. When we get together at my house we all tend to separate into the kids going outside and running around and the adults having cocktails inside. It was really fun to have everyone involved and made for a great evening. I smiled a lot tonight. And I kicked butt on "The Fountainhead" 20 seconds, thank you very much. How she figured it was 20 seconds, that I do not know. All I know is that it felt good to laugh. Life seems so much more fragile to me now, and I want to embrace the moments.

That's nice... I like old fashioned board games and even cards once

in a while. Seconds on an egg timer? That's a new one on me! ;o)

Great story! I am glad that you felt happy. Isn't it great when your cheek muscles hurt the next

day!! Always a sign of a fun filled, laughing evening!!

Best,
Barb

P.S. I have many memories of playing gin rummy with my Pop-Pop every week at family dinner...Brings back smiles... We would laugh and accuse each other at cheating, card reading etc...((Same jokes / expressions each week!))
