NFRC - any place to stay in Napa Valley that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

My sisters and I are resurrecting the Women-in-the-Family get-aways that we'd stopped when our Mom got too old to go with us. We have several nights at the Wharf Inn in San Francisco the last of April. Two of us have never been to Napa area (me) so we wanted to go overnight on Friday, May 1, before going back to Oakland airport on Saturday afternoon. Everything seems to be set for romantic couples while we'd prefer to have two rooms, doubled bedded. Does anyone know of a place that might cost around $150 per double room? Thanks!

Try Airbnb - I've used them many times and they have great places to stay

For example - an entire house, 2 bedrooms, 3 beds in Sonoma for total of $325/night. I don't know how many people you have, but sometimes it's just so much nicer to rent a house together.

Also try FlipKey - I found this 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom house in a vineyard in Napa for $239/night over the last weekend of April:

How fun! I have not been to Napa in a few years, but we LOVED going to the B&Bs. They were much

less $ and although they suggested they were for romantic couples, it was just a marketing thing to get the larger target market. You will love it! Have fun!!

Unfortunately, only going to be in Napa area ONE night, precluding a house, I think.

There are four of us.
I have done house rentals before, in Tuscon and in Cambria. It is a great way for a group to spend a week at a decent price.

I frequently stay in Santa Rosa or Petaluma, it's an easy drive from there to Somona and Napa
