Wow! Ang, hope all is well!
we are fine---didn't hit us at all in Anchorage. it stayed on the west coast. they had lots of
warning and hunkered down and I think all is well so far. I lived in Nome for 5 years, so I can imagine the blustery-ness. grocery stores will have empty shelves soon if planes can't land---no road sytem out there that connects them to us. everything gets barged or airfreighted in. it's like being stranded on an island. can get scary when it's very cold and stormy.
