How does this relate to Cathy's dogs?

 
Yes, Ang remembered that I had a Belgian Malinois

Her name was Zoom. And she was magnificent. She died too young from cancer last year.

 
Ah, I sort of thought that might be the connection....beautiful breed. So sorry for your loss

Our fur friends live such a sort life anyway and to lose them early is very sad.

I didn't know that, Angie. Wow.

Zoom was so special. We were heartbroken when she died. It was only weeks from the time she was diagnosed to the time she died. She barely passed her 11th birthday.

David was special too. I am so glad I got to meet and spend some time with him.
