few pages of an on-line text book, and it is the teachers addition. Unfortunately, it only allows you to view or transfer to a white board, not print out.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I've taken a picture of my computer screen with my iPhone, emailed it to myself and printed it. You

need to have a good image for it to work. Not sure if this is what you meant.

Do you have a PC or a Mac? PC is inside and Mac is at the link>

On a PC: To take a screen shot and save it as a picture. Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard. Then paste it into Word, etc. It will be an image, so you can't edit it.

It would depend on what type of device you are using - usually there is a "Print Screen"

button on a Windows based keyboard, on the upper right hand row of keys. (Mine on my laptop is labeled "prt sc"" )

To take a screenshot and save it as a file. Press the Windows logo key +PrtScn. Or, if you're using a tablet, press the Windows logo button + the volume down button. The screen will dim for a moment when the screen is copied and saved as a file in the Screenshots folder (which is in your Pictures folder).

barb, if you send the link, I have an app called Snagit to grab screen shots.

Tell me EXACTLY what you need (pages, etc).
I can copy/paste into a file and email it to you.
Remember, it will be a solid IMAGE, so you can't pull discrete lines of text out of it.

What a neat tool! Thanks

This allows me to eliminate bits of a page without going through several steps. Didn't know about this.

Saved it to the taskbar.

I do it all the time. Looks like you've got it covered but if you have a PC, I'm happy to walk you

through the process. seattletallpoppy at gmail dot com. I'm happy to do a phone call too. (Probably easiest.)

Thanks so much for the suggestions; it is a MAC; I will work on this tonight / tomorrow, then reach

out to the teacher. Thanks much for advise and offers to print / email, etc. So much appreciated. I love our place!!!

Press and hold in this order: Command > Shift > 3

It will put a screen shot on your desktop - the icon will be called "screen shot ...... "
