for Deathly Hallows Part 2 due for US release 11/11/11.

I was getting ready to order this at Amazon and--as always--read the "1 Ratings" to see if there was any major glitch I should be concerned about.

Turns out the "free digital copy" is only available through streaming...which means you DON'T get a real "digital" copy to save on your computer.

I especially liked this comment:

Ultraviolet is another feeble, doomed attempt by some dinosaur brain Hollywood execs to restrict the use of your legally bought digital purchase. Ultraviolet is NOT a digital copy that resides on a device of your choice to be used on a device of your choice. It is a streaming service, for which you have to sign up and maintain an account, at the expense of your bandwidth, compatible with some but not all mobile devices. If you're willing to wait another 4 weeks, order this disc set from Amazon's UK website you can do this with your current US account). Not only are you getting a REAL digital copy, but the Blu-ray disc is region free too!! Price + shipping is the same as the price in USD with free shipping.

Marilyn, I feel your pain. I've been getting blu-ray discs from Netflix lately and first thing that

happens when I hit "play" is the sucker accesses the internet (I use a wi-fi dongle),plays some useless ad, endorsing blu-ray (of all things) and 3-D blu-ray and then freezes. Takes me two or three tries to get past it and start the @!)(*$! movie. At least they get their advertising done. WTF!?
