NFRC I found instructions for the Swedish Heart Ornaments, if anyone is interested. They

are VERY easy to make, and look like they are complicated. Cute to put on the tree. Link is below.

If you use ribbon instead of paper, you just fold it in half and snip about 3/4 of the way up, then cut the tops to curve. The weave away. I only do 3 strips. They almost fall into place if you used stiff enough ribbon.

I made these one year as table favors---using green and red or white felt. works great

holds an After Eight dinner mint just perfectly.

I'm scratching my head here (or as Steve would say, by pretty head). How do you weave the strips

without cutting at least one of them at the fold?

Take a look at this - I tried to do these with Kindergartners,it was hilarious~

you can skip to about 1:20 in the video to get to the cutting/weaving instructions.

and this could certainly be worked in. If you did it with kindergardeners perhaps my adult-gardeners can handle it.
