NFRC - Intercontinental flight? I can totally relate to this. ( I laughed my head off!)

Wiki answers says:

"I think you're referring to the little hole found near the bottom of the window. The window is actually made up of three panes. The inside middle pane has the hole in it, and the reason is to equalize pressure on both sides."

Sea/Anc---people think that's Intercontinental too!!

I'm thinking about a long weekend trip around Halloween(Nov 1 is Hunter's birthday). We may need another rendezvous at B/N!

Also see David Sedaris's "Personal History" article in this weeks......

New Yorker. A hysterical piece dealing mostly with the grooming and attire of the current flying public. All true. I tried to link it but the whole article is not available on the New Yorker web site.

I talked to someone who didn't even realize Alaska was 'attached' - thought it was an island

yeah, losts of mail order folk have us "non-continental" as well. last I looked, we were still

attached to the continent, not contiguous to the lower 48, but still part of the continent(until a really big earthquake tears us and California away, and we'll join our neighbors in the warm waters near Hawaii)and there is a highway that you can drive all the way up here and mail/freight trucks come up as well. irks me.
