my son's school where every December they each bring in an item that represents their favorite thing and put it in a curio cabinet. I thought it was such a nice idea so here are some of mine, most of which you can't fit into a curio cabinet.

Feel free to add your own!

- large, clumbsy Christmas lights from the 60's

- pink roses

- babies' giggles

- chocolate mint

- the Beatles

- the first snowfall of the season

- the smell of kitten fur

- watercolor paintings

- block parties

- the Carol of the Bells

- sepia pictures

- light green leaves on spring trees

- picnics

jars of pickles and preserves in the pantry. my dog's frito feet and loving nuzzle.

gaining daylight
tulips in the Spring
a finished sewing project

You both listed my most favorite things. I can't think of anything to add, except LOVE,in all forms.

the sound of the ocean through an open window. the sound of the snowplow truck in the am.

a baby's first smile and the way they feel in your arms when they're sleeping....

the smell of coffee perking
chocolate melting in your mouth
warm chocolate chip cookies
eating a spoonful of peanut butter slowly
puppies curled up in your lap
fresh baked bread
