Pictures are coming ('gotta wait until the ice/snow covering my trunk thaws so I can open it and get the cord that ~I hope~ is in there). But I ventured out today after 3 days of constant snow.

We are about 20 miles from Oswego, NY, which has been on national (and world) news stations for the most snowfall in a 1-wk period EVER. People shoveling snow off of their roofs, snowpiles higher than 10 feet - much higher in some places, digging out the back of the driveway only to need to shovel it out again after you finish the front of it, ski centers closed "due to an excess of snow"! Wind-chill temperatures finally reaching above 0, and the kids not getting any winter vacations next week because they have used up the allowable time-off this week.

Just wanted to let the warm-weather folks know what it's been like here in nature's freezer. And I've been baking up a storm!

Dawn!!! I was thinking about you and Cyn....You had an unbelievable amount of snow!! We had a

mere 3 inches and you would think that the entire town was going to be snowed in for weeks!! I went to the store after work and the shelves were bare!!

A few days of snow are fun...BUT, I am sure that it grows old very quickly! SOOOO...What did you make??? Chili???

Regards,
Barb

Edited to add: How funny to see a huge line at the liquor store on a weekday!! (myself included.... Can't be without wine!))
