NFRC: The cover for my friend's book on Estonia (to be published by yours truly) is online!

The graphic designer sent it to me about a month ago, but I didn't realize it was floating around online. Anyway, the crumpled blue thing is a map of Estonia (the book is a travel memoir), but no close-up version of the cover exists. I really like it--it's delicate and unusual (and it looks darned professional). (We are tweaking the placement of title and author name, though.) What do you think? smileys/smile.gif

Now to just lay the sucker out in InDesign. ACK.

How exciting! I like the font / colors; the authors name looks tiny; but

that could just be relative to the title. Very exciting.

Thanks! Yes, still tweaking the name placement a little. Next version will have it across the bottom

Sorry, could not help but make suggestions, that is the Marketer in me. Have you thought of

changing the color of her name to the darker brown in the linen background? Could be interesting...

Or the title in the subtle brown and the authors name in blue.

In other words, I would suggest to introduce a medium brown to make something "POP"

I think it looks terrific! Wouldn't change a thing...

I especially like how the map is also a flower.
