NFRC - Today I drove (right) by George Clooney standing in the street,

with a camera in his hand, less than one lane over from stunned me. I didn't know he was in town and couldn't believe my eyes. The "set" was pretty open, down to one lane in my direction, so I had the luxury of a 25 mph speed! George is here in Detroit shooting a new movie. Very fun!

Only 3, from what I've seen. There were 2 and an egg when Michael

posted the link. The first hatched on the 13th and the 3rd on the 17th - I'm interested in seeing how the youngest will get its fair share of food. The oldest is much bigger already. Colleen

I didn't want to jump from the car or scream "George" but it was a pleasant boost in an otherwise busy Friday! Because I didn't know he was in town, I think I got an even greater kick that I was able to "see" him - I guess I AM paying proper attention as I'm driving. Good news for an old gal! Colleen

family was there eating together? He fed her and then she fed the little ones. Amazing to watch and much fun.

When Angels Sing is being filmed in downtown Bastrop this month...

Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Harry Connick Jr., Lyle Lovett, a Jonas brother. I haven't seen any of the cast (some of my friends have watched some of the filming) but one of the homes on Main Street had snow in the front yard and there were Christmas decorations and gingerbread man cut-outs on all the light poles. Very exciting.
