I, too, get all misty when Georg comes back in the house after dressing down Maria and hears the kids singing for the Baroness. Oy. Then he joins them. My, oh my.
I regale the family with my best little girl voice when the kids are talking about being hungry (after their Dad says they can't have dinner 'cause they've eaten so many berries). At the appropriate moment, when the littlest one (Gretl?) says she's hungry, I add (in falsetto), "I want a carne asada burrito!" Hilarity often ensues.
