NFRC Which commercial at the Superbowl was your favorite? Mine was the

Stopped watching them...Was fun last year, but this year during I believe pre-game, there were a few

commercials that were not exactly child-friendly....Imagine my dismay, when I talked about Marketing, commercials, rating, etc to the neighbors and children, only to have a woman wearing very lil clothing in Black lace in the next commercial.

Commercial Game ended....

good thing you missed the godaddy commercial---nasty. I was at the neighbors watching it as a family

with their young teenage son and daughter, and we were shocked at how crass and offensive and so inappropriate for family viewing it was. The superbowl should be a family venue---not adult primetime viewing. It started at 2:30 our time. not exactly evening adult viewing time.

We didn't watch this year, but felt in past years that they were either

gross/disgusting or we just didn't "get" the point. DH keeps reminding me we have aged out of the target demographic..... smileys/surprise.gif

Does anyone know who the "Steve" was that was singing with Bruce Springsteen? He looked

exactly like someone I went to school with, and he played the guitar and was named Steve!

Me too, but then I have never considered sports events as "child-friendly". Maybe that's why .....

the current vogue for sports figures as "role models" seems to me peculiar as well as inevitably disappointing when bad behavior surfaces.

Steve Van Zant also had a role on the Sopranos, although you'd never recongize him from this pic.
