NuWave infrared oven

My nephew gave me a NuWave infrared oven. Has anyone here used one?

 
I have not used one, but our daughter has had one for awhile and seems to love it

Would you like me to ask her anything specific about using it?

MY SIL has only ever used hers for chicken. What does your daughter like to make in hers?

 
My daughter told me this morning what she uses it for....

Everything! She loves the thing. Here is a list:
Whole roasted chicken
Frozen chicken breasts cook in no time
potatoes
all sorts of veggies
home made cinnamon rolls
Chicken nuggests that her kids can do in the Wave
Steaks

Unfortunately, her husband broke it. Apparently, the lid is hot when you take it off, and he would lay it on the counter on its side and it rolled off and broke. I have offered to buy her two new ones because she is now a foster mom and has 6 children plus her own kids.

She said meats come out very juicy and perfect. Veggies come out crisp and very flavorful. She had nothing but good stuff to say. She did say the lid is very hot and you have to be careful, and kids need to be supervised when removing the lid.

I am the recipient of a "free" one, had to rearrange a cupboard to make room

 
My friend has one, and she is a great cook. She says it does what they say it will do, but...

...in order to really get your money's worth, you have to have it out on your counter or in a place where it is very accessible or you won't use it.

Kind of like a Food Saver vacuum system. I love mine and use it a lot, but when I don't have it out, I don't use it nearly as much.
