What a fun day! Did you notice that most of the table mess was by me? I loved how

we all immediately connected; not just with food, but also with humor and interests. What a special day!!! I will wear black next time!! : )

Thanks for posting the pictures, Richard. I have never eaten there -- my son's apt is about 13 blocks away. Have you been to Republic?

I loved the lamb--told my mom (also a lamb lover) it was like spicy lamb popcorn. smileys/smile.gif

Republic is great! I walked by it for two years before knowing exactly what it was, until a visiting friend took me to lunch there. Delicious Thai food!

Didn't make it to Republic, but I did go to Legend in Chelsea...

and wow. Some really wonderful food to be had there.
