Made tonight. I forgot to add the cornstarch to the creme fraiche/egg mixture but it didn't matter much - would have been smoother with it. I gilded the lily and added some grated swiss to the top a few minutes before I took it out. Would also be really nice to add some nice brown sauteed sliced onion right before you pour the custard over it. It forms a really yummy crusty brown bottom.
