There is a grocery chain in the Portland, OR area called Nature's Fresh Northwest. In approximately 1989 they had a recipe card handout, for sweet potato pie BUT it is a savory rather than sweet recipe. It contained cheddar cheese, and you beat egg whites till stiff before combining them with the rest of the ingredients.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have that recipe?

Yes, you have to then list the item for sale on eBay if you want to sell it to the person....

but it's a great way to find things that are rare. I've seen all kinds of stuff found on there! smileys/smile.gif
