OCD Cookie Drop: Could someone give me a summary of what to do and by when?

Sorry -- we've had a series of small personal crises and I haven't been keeping up (with anything).

I know we are supposed to send cookies that keep well (does anyone have that email on what is best to send). I vaguely remember someone mentioning Crisco rather than butter. Any other info would be appreciated. I figure we can make something this weekend. Thanks!
