Ode to my beloved kitchen aid mixer

To my strong, gleaming white side kick in the kitchen... We had a great run this holiday season. From creaming butter for cookies recipes and whipping cream for pies, you were a trooper. As I clean you up, removing cake-on batter and remnents of royal icing, I will fondly remember one of our best baking seasons ever. I will now place you in the cabinet....until February when we will unite again to make Valentine's Day cookies. Enjoy your rest!!
