spent the whole of this last week at every given opportunity to play a game on Face Book called Farm Town...

I have farmed and farmed, made loads of money and now have wonderful lush looking crops, a very nice farm house and a HUGE guilt feeling that I should not have totally wasted this past week.

Anyone else have guilt trips (mine usually concern food or drink.....)

 
I'm on Facebook, but avoid most of the games

I use it mostly as a tool to keep in touch with friends and family and to promote my pottery.

On another note, we used the kecap manis (yes, we do still have some of it) that you gave us, for marinating chicken thighs before grilling. YUM!!!

 
I agree... never get into the quiz, farm or 'poking' go-rounds. Nice just for pics and saying hi

The only game I play is Scrabble......love the game...

I know I have become addicted to the farming game because I love gardening/farming and dont live in an easy place to do this fro real.....next week I will have to go back to 'the real world'......

a little guilty about reading the HA Farm Bureau farmer's market cookbook on the plane instead of

2 good books I packed with me. the 2 books are borrowed and I really wanted to finish them to return----oh well.

You have to locate a particular spot on google maps with a zoomed-in picture and a couple of clues that may or may not be in English. I try not to start, as I hate being beaten and will spend forever trying to locate that spot.

 
I am FB-free, Twitter-free, and my cell phone is fom the 90's (well, almost) and

I like it like that. Lord knows I spend too much time on this computer already! My work would never get done...

 
Hmmm... I tried it and located one then clicked 'solve' -- is that all you do?

how do you know if you've solved it correctly? Can you go back and check on that particular location?

 
The bottom picture will match the top. The large box that says Not Solved will turn green with YES

in it. I'm home right now with a bronchial infection and should be resting. I will rest but I need to solve just one more. Been saying that since 9:00 this morning.

Use Google Earth!

 
I don't even know what my cellphone # is! Bought it last year with 600 minutes...

and I still have 550 minutes. Now I have to buy more TIME on it.

 
well, darn, I did it but it never turned green... my pic was about 1/2" to the left - not dead on smileys/frown.gif
