Gayle - one more question... do you think this would keep until Christmas if I made it now??

I've never made fudge more than a couple of days in advance. If so, would you keep it uncut?

This fudge keeps in the frig just fine. It is like velvet in your mouth. I'm making some with nuts and some without. Pure heaven!!!! I also freeze fudge and it is just fine also. If my frig is full, I just freeze it. It keeps forever.

 
Thanks for all the helpful responses! I have a batch cooling now and WOW - the 'leavings' were YUM!
