Oh Marilyn--saw this on "The best thing I ever ate" on FN. Gnocchi in a bread bowl

Good grief, that look amazing. The restaurant is about 20 miles east. Mom requests

pasta every other day. Like Ed Sullivan and his "chicken and ice cream for dinner & dessert every single day," I'm getting static on what to make: lasagna, rigatoni, thin noodles with chicken and veggie, haluski, chicken noodle soup, regular spaghetti, linguini, ravioli...

As to weight gain, I've decided that as long as I'm eating some form of iron every day, I'm going to eat what I want. Next platelets donation is set for Monday...if my iron is still too low, I'll stop making appointments. This Red Cross location no longer takes walk-ins and limits its site to four platelet donations a day. If I'm too low (again), I'm needlessly taking a time slot and donation opportunity that can't be filled.

I have NEVER eaten so much spinach, beans, steak, iron and Vitamin C pills in my life. I'm a bit worried about what could happen if I get too close to a magnet.

Hoping that you will test well on Monday! Will be thinking about you smileys/wink.gif

Definitely stay away from magnets smileys/wink.gif Colleen
