oh MERYL! I'm making your Orange Butter Cake tomorrow - do you think a bundt pan would work?

Why not?! I never use bundt pans, but they're interchangeable with tube pans. I know a lot of people

do a melted butter/flour mixture to grease bundt pans, so the cakes release more easily.
Let me know how it turns out!

I made it yesterday & took it to my friends's family at the hospital. Used a bundt pan,

It filled bundt pan just short of half way. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it but it smelled great!

Too bad you didn't get a chance to try it - You'll just have to make another one for yourself!

I'll let you know how it goes and *hopefully* I can snag a piece to taste myself smileys/smile.gif

Meryl!! This cake absolutely RULES!! So moist and really delicious. I did make *one* change...

To help boost the orange flavor, I added 2 tbl. orange juice concentrate to the fresh-squeezed oj. I made the glaze and it was reeeeeeeeeeally good smileys/smile.gif

Hey cheezz! So glad you liked it! (I knew you would) smileys/smile.gif Did you also use the orange extract?

The extract has a very strong orange taste, so it's a good thing you added some extra orange flavor

with the concentrate!

there's a new product in the market called "True Lemon" I think - pure powdered lemon juice

I was thinking of getting some and adding it to a lemon dessert to "boost" the lemonyness.... heehee
