Tater Tot Casserole for dinner tonight? Though, sadly, I was disappointed in it as I tried using 100% Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup; it was too tomatoe-y.
For SURE my casserole looked a LOT better than the one in that book! Mine looked like it was cooked all the way.
I had tried the Golden soup some time ago, but this tasted completely different from what I remember, so I think I originally used half golden mushroom and half regular cream of mushroom soup. . .
This is truly a guilty pleasure for me. My mom never made this stuff when we were kids as the tater tots were too expensive. I first had it in junior high/high school at a friend's house and have gotten periodic cravings for it ever since. . .!
