dodging too. Hanging in there for you CathyZ and Sandy
What a trip we had, I'm at least 20 LBS heavier but had such an amazing time dining everywhere OH! BOY!.
I seemed to have lost my camera between last minute packing and getting into the car (still can't find it) so the first 2 weeks of pics are mostly on my DD camera but sweet DH bought another one that is both shockproof and waterproof...I dropped it the 3rd day! and used it tubing down the Wisconsin river for 4 hours...WHAT a blast.
Skimming very quickly through the posts this page I am pleased to hear good news of Marge and that DJ is OK and Cici too.
Ang, your garden is my envy..I arrived back to find that darling DH of mine turned off the water...the gardener could not water, even the chickens and ducks...poor man had to carry water for the birds from a neighbour!
Lost the super, bearing, avocado tree, the rosemary, 2 citrus trees, rose bushes and smaller plants. I am not a happy camper about this, how-ever the fowl seem OK, just not laying.
It is DARN! hot, too hot to think, so that maybe a reason for no eggs too.
The cat snuck out too, the day we brought her home from a 3 weeks stay at the kennels...I so hope she will come back. She was /is just the most adoring cat ever (andf I dont really like cats) she would meet us at the door after every time we had gone out, now matter time of day or night.
The darling Sheltie we have is just fine, he is 13 years old now and has seemingly gone absolutely deaf these past 3 weeks staying with another DD. He is due for a vet visit next week.
I will post some highlights of the trip, food wise, in a few and try to post some pictures too.
