just came in and contains her "Construction Gingerbread" recipe...the one with corn syrup mentioned on her website.

I know she's a different link from the Cookie Architect, but maybe CA used Julia's recipe?

Updated 30 seconds later:

OH NO! Her recipe involves a candy thermometer. And we all know how I react around things that require messing with bubbling-hot, flesh-removing sugar and humidity.

Traca, your circle of friends is truly amazing. We should adapt "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" to

"350 degrees of Traca for 20 minutes, or until friended"

ohhhh....I have $113 in *Discover* dollars burning a hole in my nonexistent pocket. I can use them

at Amazon....who carry Thermapens.

LOL! The gift of having a blog...and interviewing authors. smileys/smile.gif Interesting about

Julia is that she used to be an engineer. I think that's apparent in her work, no? Precision is her gift.

Seriously???!!!! you should follow her on Facebook. I learn something new every single day through

Traca's posts, and often multiple things a day. She has a unique ability to weave tales through the written word about her daily encounters and experiences, like no one else I know. There's a book laying wait within her for sure!

Traca, you're a gem, m'lady!!!!
