after a long abscence i went back to Gail's and to be honest i was'nt pleased with what i found. apparently alot of the old Gail's posters were not either. this swap seems better suited to many of us. anyway, it is fantasic to be back, great to have a new computer and abslutely WONDERFUL to be alive!

btw..does anyone have the recipe for nlb's indescribally(sp) delicious banana bread? i can't find it anywhere and have some very ripe bananas to contend with TIA.

blessings,

lisa

Hey lisa,

great to see you. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering where you were. I am glad you found your way here. I used to be Dawn/SanDiego and Dawn/SD, a recent move changed my name to Dawn_MO. I was just thinking about making your pickled jalapeno recipe to go with my pickled carrots. If you look up at the top, you will see T & T Hall of Fame. You can find a lot of the old favorite recipes from Gail's up there. Here is the link for nlb's banana bread.
I hope you will be posting some recipes soon. Dawn

Hi Val, that's what I get for not checking back

before posting, when I am posting a wordy post. I made your cilantro rice again, I just love that recipe!

thanks so much, sooo glad Lisa/LA tipped me onto this site. Dawn>>>

it is funny i was thinking about you too the other day when i was making dill pickle relish! happy to see that you are still here, along with others as well. no wonder Gail's isn't the same!

Cheezz...could you be the "Jane" that I had a weekend discussion with on....

Morning Glory muffins YEARS ago? This "Jane in LA" had a friend who was a writer? for Dharma & Greg, one of my favorite TV shows.
