Oh! You must have been to my last tea party smileys/smile.gif Yum.... choc chip cream scones!

ok, it's getting clearer - thanks all!!! Still have questions about the measurements....

I am completely lost with metric. Does 1kg of sugar REALLY mean 2.67 POUNDS?! And what does 300ml of thickened cream mean.... milligrams or milliliters or ??
HELP!

I think that in Britain thickened cream is Devonshire or creme fraiche and not pourable heavy cream

that sure seems like a lot of sugar syrup...

but I'm sure I could think of something to do with leftover cardomon flavored sugar water smileys/smile.gif

The pot in the picture, though, is the oil as they are frying the balls.

Thanks Charlie!

It's 2.67 alright--and about 14 ounces of cream--it's milliliters. You can see the big pot of

sugar syrup in her pics.

yeah, that pot of imagined boiling sugar water just looked too good to be true smileys/smile.gif
