Thought I had seen a recipe on the board for some kind of dessert - cookie, cake or something - in the last week or so. Now that I have bought these, anyone have a good dessert to suggest?

How about Key Lime Cheesecake Squares? I posted the recipe here about a week ago - OR...

Strawberry Cream Pie or Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake... Will post any of these if interested.

Here are two that might fit the bill. REC: Cheesecake Squares and Rich Cream Cheese Pecan Pie

These aren't T&T but they sure do sound good. I may make the cheesecake squares for the fourth, and serve with fresh berries to top with.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

5 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon, unsalted butter -- room temperature
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour -- spooned and leveled
8 ounces cream cheese -- room temperature
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with two crisscrossed rectangles of parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on all sides. Cream the butter and sugar. Add flour and mix until just combined; set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining dough into bottom and 1/4 inch up sides of prepared pan. Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg, milk, lemon juice, and vanilla; mix to combine. Spread filling in crust; crumble reserved dough on top. Bake until filling is set, about 25 minutes. Cool slightly, then cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.

Coeur à la Crème springs to mind. My recipe uses

heavy cream along with cream cheese and ricotta, but I'm sure I've seen recipes with sour cream, which would give it a crème fraîche element.

OR use the cream cheese in something else, and then stir a teaspoon of lime juice and 2 tablespoons of sugar into the sour cream and spoon it onto fresh berries or something.
