Olga - I don't know if you had tried that Ukranian Savory Biscotti you posted a link to, BUT

they were REALLY fabulous, with a couple of timing tweaks... I initially baked it for 45 min. (instead of 40) and after slicing and putting them back on the sheet, I baked them another 20 min. instead of 10 min. The flavor is really wonderful and would be a perfect pairing with wine.
